We would like to inform all participants of the IHC Symposium 2026 about fraudulent emails currently being circulated.
Several participants have reported receiving emails from the address presidentqboard@gmail.com, in which the sender falsely claims to represent the IHC board and requests assistance with processing a payment.
Please be advised that:
- These messages are fraudulent (phishing attempts)
- The organizers and the IHC board will never request financial assistance via email in this manner
- Most symposium-related payments have already been completed, and no such requests are legitimate
We strongly advise all participants:
- Do not reply to these emails
- Do not make any payments or share personal or financial information
Official communication regarding the symposium is sent exclusively from:
- sara@da-riva.hr
- info@ihcsymposium2026.com
Prof. Dražen Lušić will communicate only via his official institutional email:
- drazen.lusic@medri.uniri.hr
or through the official symposium email above—never via a Gmail address.
If you receive any suspicious messages, we kindly ask you to report them to the organizers.
